Caregiver Skills course program is a 6 to 8 hours educational course. The goal of the program is to introduce the students to the healthcare field of caregiving. It is designed to provide a guide for instructors and learners on the competencies needed by caregivers caring for clients in a variety of settings. This course focuses on providing guidance on the competencies needed by caregivers to provide effective and efficient care for patients both in a hospital, clinical, and home base settings. Tasks and responsibilities of a caregiver include but are not limited to wound care, bed soreness prevention, preparation of nutritious meals, maintaining personal hygiene, and providing emotional support for the elderly..
Schedule of Classes: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
All instructors are licensed LVNs and RNs approved by the State of California.
