Home Health Aide Program is a 40-hour program. Home Health Aide Program focuses on practical skills such as: health and safety regulations, the proper method of lifting and moving patients, standard hygiene practices, and infection control along with patient nutrition and many more. In this course, you will be equipped with the skills necessary for home care services to handle your patients with care.

 

All instructors are RN and Nurse Practitioners (DR). Approved by the State (Board of Registered Nursing and CNA Program approved by CDPH and Home Health Aide Program.

 

Schedule of Classes: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • A minimum of 17 years of age
    • Must hold current CPR Certificate
    • Must possess Social Security or Tax I.D. Number
    • Can speak, read and understand the English language
    • Must arrange an appointment with admission who will confirm that eligibility requirements have been met and will issue a permit to take the entrance test
    • Obtain background check clearance
    • Social Security Card Photo Copy
    • Picture for Student ID badge
    • Proof of legal residence
