Tracheostomy Care is an 8- Hour Continuing Education Course. This course is important for nurses who work with any patients with a tracheostomy, whether the tube is temporary or for life. By completing this training course, nurses will be able to provide more effective and compassionate care. Nurses will learn early and ongoing preventative strategies and risks associated with tracheostomies. Several different procedures used to insert the tracheotomy tube are discussed, as well the types of tubes available and which work best in specific situations. It is essential that nurses are able to care effectively for all tracheostomy patients.
All instructors are licensed LVNs and RNs approved by the State of California.
Schedule of Classes: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
